On November 9, 2023, a meeting was held in Vlore to discuss about dams that are owned by the respective municipalities of the Vlora County, where representatives from the municipalities and the prefect of Vlora County were present. During the meeting, the importance of maintenance, administration, use of reservoirs and safety of dam infrastructure was emphasized. This meeting was an excellent opportunity to present the Albanian Municipality DARE project and to discuss about the existing condition of dams and the identification of dams that have lost their function.
