H2H Foundation, in collaboration with North Green Association, participated in the Pop-Up Embassy SWEDEN on Tour fair in Durrës – an activity that promotes cooperation between Albania and Sweden in the field of sustainability and environmental development.
Our stand was visited with interest by the Swedish Ambassador Mr. Niklas Strom and the Mayor of Durres Ms. Emirjana Sako, where the Active Water II project was presented – an initiative that aims to monitor, protect and engage citizens for water bodies in the municipalities of Durrës, Tirana, Elbasan, Fier and Shkoder.
The project focuses on raising awareness on sustainable water management, engaging the community and using simple technologies for measuring and assessing water quality.
H2H Foundation thanks the Swedish Embassy for the invitation and emphasizes that participation in this event was a valuable opportunity to share experiences and promote initiatives that directly impact the quality of life in our cities.
This activity was carried out within the framework of the #GreenAL project “Support to Civil Society Organizations 2024 -2027”, financed by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) with funds from the Swedish Government and implemented by Co-PLAN, Institute for Habitat Development in collaboration with VIS Albania and COSV – Cooperazione per lo Sviluppo.
