\ud83d\uddef\ufe0f The lecture covered several key topics in dam engineering, including:
\u2022 earthfill and rockfill dams;
\u2022 concrete gravity dams and arch dams;
\u2022 drainage systems and seepage control;
\u2022 geotechnical monitoring and dam instrumentation;
\u2022 the impact of climate change on reservoir safety;
\u2022 sediment management and erosion control;
\u2022 emergency preparedness and risk management in cases of extreme inflows or structural failures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83c\udf0d Discussions also focused on the main challenges faced by dams in Albania, where the experts highlighted issues such as:

\u2022 reservoir sedimentation reducing water storage capacity;
