\ud83d\udcc5 On May 22, 2026 a monitoring activity was carried out at Lal\u00ebz Beach within the framework of the #RIVERCLEAN project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udccd The selected monitoring site was located along the Lal\u00ebz coastline \u2013 an area of significant natural and recreational value, increasingly exposed to pressures from human activities and plastic pollution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83c\udf0a During the activity, the presence, types, and quantities of litter were observed and monitored in accordance with the standardised beach litter monitoring protocol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udc49 The activity aimed to provide a clearer overview of the pollution situation in the area by identifying the main types of litter, understanding their possible sources, and assessing their impact on the coastal and marine environment. It also contributed to raising awareness about reducing plastic waste and protecting natural ecosystems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
