\ud83d\udcc5 On 29 May, a monitoring activity was carried out at the Public Beach located at the end of the Lal\u00ebz Beach coastline, within the framework of the #RIVERCLEAN project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udccd The selected monitoring site was located at the end of Lal\u00ebz Beach coastline, near the Tarin stream \u2013 an area exposed to pressures from human activities and plastic pollution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83c\udf0a During the activity, the presence, types, and quantities of litter were observed and monitored in accordance with the standardised beach litter monitoring protocol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udc49 The activity aimed to provide a clearer overview of the pollution situation by identifying the main types of litter, understanding their possible sources, and assessing their impact on the coastal and marine environment. It also contributed to raising awareness on the importance of reducing plastic waste and protecting natural ecosystems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
