{"id":1520,"date":"2026-09-09T15:09:41","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T15:09:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/h2h-foundation.al\/?p=1520"},"modified":"2026-09-09T15:18:21","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T15:18:21","slug":"riverclean-second-cleanup-activity-at-lalezi-public-beach-near-tarin-stream","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/h2h-foundation.al\/en\/riverclean-second-cleanup-activity-at-lalezi-public-beach-near-tarin-stream\/","title":{"rendered":"RIVERCLEAN &#8211; Second cleanup activity at Lal\u00ebzi Public Beach near Tarin Stream"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On 21 July 2026, a coastal cleanup activity was organised at <strong>Lal\u00ebz Public Beach<\/strong> near Tarin stream as part of the <strong>RIVERCLEAN Project<\/strong>, with the participation and support of volunteers from <strong>Rotary Club Tirana International<\/strong> and <strong>Horizons to Sustainability<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The activity aimed not only to remove litter from the coastal area but also to raise awareness about the importance of protecting marine ecosystems and reducing pollution from waste, particularly plastic litter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks to the commitment of volunteers and partner organisations, a total of <strong>58.05 kg of waste<\/strong> was collected during the cleanup, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>33.96 kg of plastic waste<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>24.09 kg of other waste<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The initiative contributed to improving the environmental condition of the beach while promoting community responsibility for protecting nature.
